The Inquisitor noticed that the crusader felt out of place. Or so she assumed when the man beside her spoke up. Inara decided to not scare the newcomer too much this day - she’ll have plenty of opportunities later

‘‘I am Inara, dearest Malakai. Have you already forgotten?” - the gypsy asked with a somewhat pouty face - “Goodness gracious, am I so uninteresting to you that you can’t even remember my name?”

“ I simply wish to save it to my memory my lady.” Malakai responded not so hurt by the woman’s hurt words she displayed. Not to mention he IS both old and new at the same time to this place. Hopefully the next person will cut him a slight bit of slack. But for now he would have to remain resolute in the presence of someone who seemed fond of talking much.

The aged warrior calmed his antsy hands resting them stilled upon the table beside the pair of lightened mugs “ May I ask how long this, blight has been allowed to fester for so long or perchance where it crawled from?” The wallnut colored man turned to face the woman fully now; In the hopes that she would be able to enlighten him further.

Two mugs of ale landed on the table seemingly out of nowhere - Inara was quick on her feet and equally fast with her hands. Judging by the liquid in the mugs - she brought something quite decent.

‘’You have missed out quite a bit of an event four days ago,
” - the nomadic woman announced as she sat right beside the crusader - “Someone sneaked in tavern and emptied the safe in the gaming hall. The tavern owner had to cut the other prices in half, and the townsfolk were more than grateful for that.” - Inara’s voice was quite lively. She sipped the ale, and added:

“I shudder to think how much booze did they drink that evening. The hellions were probably responsible for the most of it.”

The sudden sound caused the older warrior to snap his head around recoiling his shoulders out of instinct. Calm, or what he could muster of it, returned to the man as he reached for his mug. He remained silent as his, companion of sorts told him of the recent happenings in this little hamlet. He raised up his drink and took a decent swig of it before lowering it back down to the table again “ What a lucky night for them all.” He commented a but crudely.

In truth he Malakai did not really know what to talk about, for he had only just arrived and had naught else to related to. He was quiet as he drank looking around the tavern again scanning his surroundings as was natural for him. And then his eyes returned to that foreign looking woman beside him, unknowingly gazing down to her well endowed bosom. How could a woman reasonably have those be so large without discomfort? Strange.

The surprisingly friendly Inquisitor continued talking briefly about several other events that she have witnessed with her own eyes since the day she arrived at this bizarre hamlet. As Inara took a few sips from her own mug in-between the stories - she noticed that the armored newcomer was seemingly charmed by her body. Not a thing that Inara wasn’t used to by this day, but she nonetheless expected more self-control from a man of Light. The nomadic woman smiled quite slyly - whatever she planned for the crusader in future probably involved some mischief and at least several life-or-death situations.

‘‘Are you listening, Malakai dearest?” - the gypsy asked in somewhat casual tone.

The full armored man occasionally took a drink of ale intermittently when he heard a long paused from time to time. It wasn’t until his name was recited to him that the aged man realized he was staring at the female’s bust “ Uuhhrrm.” He mumbled out, finishing off his mug as a means of pause to collect himself a moment. He then set that now empty mug to rest on the table clearing his throat and looking to the dark skinned woman “ I was, but have become distracted, forgive me milady.” He stated.

Become distracted was a rather polite way of saying staring right at your huge breasts in wonder of their size. Malakai inhaled deeply a moment straightening himself to a half hunch, instead of his full hunch he oft held “ I as of yet know very little of this place, only of its infamous legions of so called evils, of human and inhuman make.” A long breath was let loose as the old warrior rubbed the skin through his leather gloves before saying “ I’ve yet to see a one on my venture here.”

The gypsy rolled her eyes with even wider smirk. ‘Distracted’ was one among many other such words she heard in circumstances like this one. Inara didn’t mind such behavior - it only told her that the armored man can be quite easily manipulated.

‘‘I haven’t seen legions of those monsters at once, dearest Malakai, but I am certain their true numbers is beyond count.” - the Inquisitor spoke as she placed her half-empty mug on the table - “Frankly I am surprised why this place isn’t swarmed with righteous men and women of Light yet. The Church clearly has a blind eye to the local heresy, and I sometimes wonder how could it be possible… But don’t worry, Malakai dearest. You will see those fiends very soon. The Heir has a trial for the newcomers. And it is not an easy one…”

It was a rarity for him to partake in any sort of alcohol at all, but this was an odd sort of situation that required it. It did cause his muscles to relax and loosen up to some manner of ease from that bitter ale. It also was a rarity for the old warrior to meet a rather unique woman Such as the one now beside him. The Light, Chuch and disapproval shown to him were interesting indications of her beliefs revealed. This was someone he couldn’t trust, at least starting off this dark skinned woman would have to be watched.

“ I have little doubt at this fact, ma’am.” Malakai replied knowing fully that his nose would be put swiftly to the grindstone once he meets the estate heir. A swallow to push the lingering taste down his throat would have been heard by those beside him “ My equipment is in lacking quality for such an endeavor, in need of refinement.” The old man stated more so to himself rather than to the woman at his side “ Forgive me, what was thy name?”

16 Uncomfortable Feelings That Actually Indicate You’re On The Right Path

terra-the-witch:

imawitchywitch:

wendidarling:

neo-somaliana:

1. Feeling as though you are reliving your childhood struggles. You find that you’re seeing issues you struggled with as a kid reappear in your adult life, and while on the surface this may seem like a matter of not having overcome them, it really means you are becoming conscious of why you think and feel, so you can change it.

2. Feeling “lost,” or directionless. Feeling lost is actually a sign you’re becoming more present in your life – you’re living less within the narratives and ideas that you premeditated, and more in the moment at hand. Until you’re used to this, it will feel as though you’re off track (you aren’t).

3. “Left brain” fogginess. When you’re utilizing the right hemisphere more often (you’re becoming more intuitive, you’re dealing with emotions, you’re creating) sometimes it can seem as though “left brain” functions leave you feeling fuzzy. Things like focusing, organizing, remembering small details suddenly become difficult.

4. Having random influxes of irrational anger or sadness that intensify until you can’t ignore them anymore. When emotions erupt it’s usually because they’re “coming up” to be recognized, and our job is to learn to stop grappling with them or resisting them, and to simply become fully conscious of them (after that, we control them, not the opposite way around).

5. Experiencing unpredictable and scattered sleeping patterns. You’ll need to sleep a lot more or a lot less, you’ll wake up in the middle of the night because you can’t stop thinking about something, you find yourself full of energy or completely exhausted, and with little in-between.

6. A life-changing event is taking place, or just has. You suddenly having to move, getting divorced, losing a job, having a car break down, etc.

7. Having an intense need to be alone. You’re suddenly disenchanted with the idea of spending every weekend out socializing, and other people’s problems are draining you more than they are intriguing you. This means you’re re-calibrating.

8. Intense, vivid dreaming that you almost always remember in detail. If dreams are how your subconscious mind communicates with you (or projects an image of your experience) then yours is definitely trying to say something. You’re having dreams at an intensity that you’ve never experienced before.

9. Downsizing your friend group; feeling more and more uncomfortable around negative people. The thing about negative people is that they rarely realize they are negative, and because you feel uncomfortable saying anything (and you’re even more uncomfortable keeping that in your life) you’re ghosting a bit on old friends.

10. Feeling like the dreams you had for your life are collapsing. What you do not realize at this moment is that it is making way for a reality better than you could have thought of, one that’s more aligned with who you are, not who you thought you would be.

11. Feeling as though your worst enemy are your thoughts. You’re beginning to realize that your thoughts do create your experience, and it’s often not until we’re pushed to our wit’s end that we even try to take control of them – and that’s when we realize that we were in control all along.

12. Feeling unsure of who you really are. Your past illusions about who you ‘should’ be are dissolving. You feel unsure because it is uncertain! You’re in the process of evolving, and we don’t become uncertain when we change for the worse (we become angry and closed off). In other words: if what you’re experiencing is insecurity or uncertainty, it’s usually going to lead to something better.

13. Recognizing how far you still have to go. When you realize this, it’s because you can also see where you’re headed, it means you finally know where and who you want to be.

14. “Knowing” things you don’t want to know. Such as what someone is really feeling, or that a relationship isn’t going to last, or that you won’t be at your job much longer. A lot of “irrational” anxiety comes from subconsciously sensing something, yet not taking it seriously because it isn’t logical.

15. Having a radically intense desire to speak up for yourself.Becoming angry with how much you’ve let yourself be walked on, or how much you’ve let other people’s voices get into your head is a sign that you’re finally ready to stop listening, and love yourself by respecting yourself first.

16. Realizing you are the only person responsible for your life, and your happiness. This kind of emotional autonomy is terrifying, because it means that if you mess up, it’s all on you. At the same time, realizing it is the only way to be truly free. The risk is worth the reward on this one, always

‘‘Wonderful decision!” - the sly Gypsy swiftly took the man’s arm with her own - ‘‘The local ale will put you in a far better mood, I am certain.” - Inara’s voice was neither too loud nor too quiet, but it was clearly pleased. As the woman spoke - she gently tugged the man of Light to the needed direction, away from the silent blacksmith and his noisy forge. Once outside - she looked around, looking for some familiar faces, out of old habit. Alas, this evening the central square of the Hamlet was somewhat empty. A shame, Inara thought, before speaking up to the crusader:

“I do have some coins on my person, dear Malakai, and since I made the blacksmith busy with my weapons - I feel obliged to buy the drinks tonight. What do you say?”

Well that energetic response was, not the kind the old warrior would have expected. Her arms was around his own before he could say or even do anything about it, simply shifting his sword in his right hand. Pulled along as she walked it took a moment for the armored man to adjust to the movement managing to keep in pace with her. She’d pay to get him a drink, just for taking the blacksmiths time and preventing him from tending to his gear?

“ I have yet to step within the tavern as of yet.” He stated a bit, overwhelmed, by how this woman was acting unaccustomed to such a personality as hers. He’d resign himself to this course of action, yet again, sighing and straightening himself in posture. He’d almost seemed to grow as he stood at his full height, in comparison to his normal hunched appearance “ Nnnmmm, Very well. At least this evening may yet be salvageable.” He replied preparing himself to continue walking whenever that, robust female decided to continue.

’’You should have went there the minute you arrived in this Hamlet, dear Malakai.” - the woman responded with a bewitching smile - “It is but a local tradition. All of those who come to this place usually ask for the directions exactly in the good old tavern. Most of them even stay there for an hour or five, for various reasons…”

The sly Gypsy tugged the tall old man to the tavern relatively fast as she was talking with him en-route. Naturally the Omen Seeker didn’t plan to get neither the crusader nor herself drunk tonight - she merely wanted to establish an acquaintanceship, and hopefully have his tongue untied with ale, so she could listen out how exactly did he end up in a place like this in all vivid details. A few dozen coins are well worth such information. Eventually, Inara believed, she could use such information for her own benefit, just like she did with several other adventurers she knew in this place.

Once they were inside - it took her just a few moments to show Malakai where to sit and wait for her until she returns from bartender. Inara hoped that the tall man would not cause problems with the other visitors while she’s not nearby.

If his arm were tugged any harder the old warrior would have lost his limb to the woman’s grasp. Grunting with a slight reconsidering in his mind he managed to, with some awkwardness, to make the walk seem less of him being dragged. He was not one much for partaking in drink and making merry. Primarily because he never really had much time for such indulgences. It could also be that he was more in the field and commanders tends than many others.

When they entered and the armor clad man indicated where to sit he fidgeted with his hands at the table. He wouldn’t pay much attention to the other, patrons, that were making themselves at home in such a place. Simply looking about eyes darting from side to side in the process, checking for any sort of, trouble.
